HONOR Shows Off AI Robot Phone
HONOR gave visitors at MWC 2026 a close look at its new AI-powered Robot Phone, one of the event's most eye-catching concept devices.
The Details:
The phone's biggest feature is a small robotic camera that pops up from the back and can move on its own. It can tilt, rotate, follow people automatically, and keep subjects in the frame while recording videos.
HONOR says the phone uses "embodied AI," allowing it to understand movement, sound, and its surroundings for more natural interactions.
It can also make simple movements like nodding, shaking its "head," and even dancing.
The Robot Phone is built around a 200MP camera with a stabilized gimbal system and includes AI features such as automatic subject tracking and improved video stabilization.
HONOR is also working with cinema company ARRI to bring professional color tuning and filmmaking features to the device.
The Robot Phone is not a concept; HONOR says it plans to launch the device in August 2026.
